Giving to Missouri 4-H
Missouri 4-H endowments
You can establish an endowment at the Missouri 4-H Foundation to provide support for a Missouri 4-H Youth Development program, a post-secondary scholarship, or an unrestricted fund to support the greatest needs of Missouri 4-H as they arise. Endowment funds ensure that generations of Missouri 4-H youth will have the opportunity to experience positive youth development.
Only part of your investment return is used each year, because of the long-term nature of an endowment. The remaining amount is reinvested in the principal to offset the effects of inflation and allow the fund to perpetuate well beyond the donor's lifetime.
You can be assured that your investment in Missouri’s youth will be appropriately stewarded. The Foundation practices sound fiscal management and oversight of endowment funds is provided by the Missouri 4-H Foundation staff and Board of Trustees.
