This course is designed for Airport Managers and Airport Operations Supervisors to function within the National Incident Management System (NIMS) for an aircraft incident/accident on or off their airport. Information will be presented to show how airport managers can assess and strengthen preparedness activities at their airports through the use of planning, training and disaster simulations. The course will include Incident Command System (ICS), planning for events, disaster drill planning, working with the emergency responders, resource management and evaluating airport capabilities.
