COLUMBIA, Mo. – On Saturday, March 16, the Prairie Grove Shooting Sports Complex hosted the second annual Missouri 4-H Clover Clays Charity Shoot. This event, aimed at supporting the Missouri 4-H Foundation, brought together teams and sponsors from across the state and raised more than $21,000

A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the Missouri 4-H Shooting Sports program, which is dedicated to teaching young people the ethical and safe use of firearms while developing valuable skills such as marksmanship, responsibility and sportsmanship.

“We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support shown by the teams, sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible,” said Rachel Augustine, Missouri 4-H Foundation director. “We are proud to partner with our presenting sponsor Bass Pro Shops to help to grow this event that exemplifies the spirit of community, generosity and the commitment to conservation and youth education.”

Co-chairs Travis Scott and Caleb Colbert welcomed participants, thanked everyone for their support of Missouri 4-H and encouraged teams to enjoy the day on the newly constructed course.

Bass Pro shops was the presenting sponsor. American Outdoor Brands was the T-shirt sponsor. Graf and Sons and MidwayUSA were platinum sponsors. Capstone Precision Group and Midwest Mailing were silver sponsors. Hodgdon Powder Co., MidwayUSA, Missouri Soybean Association and WR Wealth Planners were the awards sponsors. Peachtree Catering was the lunch sponsor; the Law Firm of Haden and Colbert was the beverage and snack sponsor.
