This program aims to provide inactive middle-aged and older adults with access to a safe, structured and effective exercise program capable of building muscle and increasing bone density, thus decreasing frailty, osteoporosis and the risk of falls. SSSH helps participants meet the CDC’s physical activity recommendations.  We’ll challenge participants through gradual increases in amount of exercise and intensity. Participants complete a warmup, a set of 8 upper and lower-body strengthening exercises and a cool-down at each class. Participants are made to feel comfortable regardless of their current fitness level so they can safely participate and gradually build the strength beneficial to health. Additionally, once a week, we’ll be learning tips and tricks for making healthy food choices. We’ll have cooking demonstrations and you’ll get to sample tasty new recipes. Don’t miss out on this chance for support and guidance to help you meet your health goals!
