Help us increase the scope of the festival. With your support, we can bring in additional acclaimed storytellers at more venues and ensure the community can continue to learn and be entertained through this special opportunity, free or for a minimal charge.
Thanks to everybody who attended our 2020 Virtual St. Louis Storytelling Festival! Our local and regional storytellers adapted to a change in our Festival format and scope this year, due to the pandemic shutdown of live venues and events, and we’re working now to get this materials into an online library format for continued viewing. In the meantime, we are continuing to plan and adjust to bring in our 2020 Festival Featured Tellers, either virtually or in-person, for more Festival programming in 2020. Please stay tuned for these developments
Meanwhile, we have a few special online events planned for the next few months. For one, Story Lounge resumes in June and July! In June (June 25, 7pm), we will host “Proud To Be..!”, inviting tellers to share stories of pride or stories that resonated with them on the theme of pride. In July (July 23, 7pm), we host “Free To Be…!”, with stories relating what freedom means in America today. Come and share, or listen in for an evening of fun, sharing and community! Both events are available by tuning into our Festival FB page for a livestream. Want to share a story? Drop us a line and let us know!
