Help us increase the scope of the festival. With your support, we can bring in additional acclaimed storytellers at more venues and ensure the community can continue to learn and be entertained through this special opportunity, free or for a minimal charge.
The St. Louis Storytelling Festival is coming! Now in its 40th year, the Festival (April 25 – May 4, 2019) renews and celebrates the timeless art of storytelling.
Organized through the University of Missouri Extension Community Arts Program, this multi-day extravaganza, held at multiple venues across the region, will feature storytellers from around the world as well as regional storytellers from our own communities. Check out the “Schedule” page for the Festival schedule (currently in development), or review the “Related Resources” box below for individual events at Festival time and throughout the year, including special events, workshops, Story Lounge monthly events, and more.
In the meantime, join us at our March Story Lounge, to be held March 28, 2019, 8:30 pm (doors open at 8) at Sophie’s Artist Lounge in the Grand Center Arts District. “Springing Forward” is our March theme, celebrating stories of transitions, blossoming, and moving forward! Want to share a story? Want to learn more? Drop us a line and let us know!
