This is a six module series designed to give you the knowledge you need about performance nutrition and why it is so important for athletic performance. In this course we will discuss the topics of: hydration: how much to drink and when; precompetition nutrition: what to eat before competition and when; post-competition nutrition: how to refuel for optimal recovery; protein guidelines: benefits of protein and recommended intake guidelines; supplementation: safety concerns and common supplements among athletes; and the female athlete triad: what it is, and the steps to prevent it.
