This self-paced, six module series will give you the knowledge you need to know about performance nutrition and how it affects athletic performance. In this course we will discuss the topics of: hydration: how much to drink and when; precompetition nutrition: what to eat before competition and when; post-competition nutrition: how to refuel for optimal recovery; protein guidelines: benefits of protein and recommended intake guidelines; supplementation: safety concerns and common supplements among athletes; and the female athlete triad: what it is, and the steps to prevent it.
