Jerron (pronounced “Jer-rawn”) joined MCAC as Program Director in August 2017 and became the MCAC Director in May 2019. He is a native of St. Louis who has spent over a decade active in National Service/AmeriCorps in Missouri. Prior to MCAC, Jerron served as the Chief Field Program Officer for the Missouri Community Service Commission (Missouri Department of Economic Development), providing leadership for program and grants oversight/monitoring functions. His experience also includes managing public/private grants for a local nonprofit in St. Louis and an AmeriCorps program that placed 40 full-time AmeriCorps members in St. Louis Public Schools to combat illiteracy among elementary school students.

Jerron has a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida and a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is an AmeriCorps Alum with an ongoing commitment to empowering people and communities through direct service.
