Jalissa Santiago is a 2019 graduate of the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in health science with an emphasis in health and wellness. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri where she completed two years earning her associateâ¿¿s degree at the local community college. Throughout her college experience, Jalissa has held a variety of positions that have allowed her to advocate for vulnerable populations such as working for the Children's Psychiatric Hospital. There she worked alongside a skilled team to promote strategies that aid the development of skills and resources necessary for a child to return successfully to the community. Jalissa is very passionate and excited to work within MCAC to advocate for underrepresented populations that are often overlooked.
