WARSAW, Mo. – “The last six to eight months has been brutal on area pastures and winter feeding areas,” says University of Missouri Extension livestock specialist Gene Schmitz. “Forage producers face partial or complete renovation of some of these areas in the upcoming months.”

MU Extension will hold a pasture recovery and forage selection update 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, to answer questions about pasture repair and recovery strategies. Schmitz and MU Extension agronomy specialist Travis Harper present the program.

The free workshop will be held at the Warsaw Ambulance District meeting room at 1206 Medic Drive in Warsaw. Register by calling the MU Extension Center in Benton County at 660-438-5012.
