This publication offers tips on how to alter clothing. The best alternative is to buy clothing that fits; included is an 11-point checklist for testing the clothes you try on. It also includes guidelines to determine if a piece of clothing is properly fitted.

If alterations are necessary, guidelines for places that are either too big or too small are included.

Several line diagrams on each page illustrate the written methods.
