LETI continuing education and seminars
In addition to the Law Enforcement Training Academy, LETI offers continuing education seminars for officers and administrators. These courses are designed to help law enforcement professionals keep up with the demands and trends in public safety.
Available topics include firearms and tactical training, domestic violence, DWI, narcotics, legal updates, racial profiling, cyber crimes, defense tactics and custom courses. Courses range from patrol-oriented subjects to detective work, instructor development and specializations in a variety of subjects.
The Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission now requires the use of your license number for tracking your continuing education training hours. This number is different than your social security number. For more information on how to obtain your license number, please visit the POST license number page.
Our faculty also travels to departments throughout the state to conduct training. We can customize courses to fit the individual needs of a given department. Registration fees, continuing education units and instructors may vary. Contact Carl Schwartze for more information or check the course catalog for the list of schedulable events.
