Horticulture entails the art and science of growing plants for both beauty and utility. Literally interpreted, horticulture means “to grow a garden”. A garden is a unique combination of site, soil, climate, and the plants that inhabit it. Horticulture for the Homeowner is a course designed to enhance gardening knowledge and provide new skills. Both beginners along with seasoned gardeners will find the course useful. Students enjoy learning from horticulture experts and sharing gardening experiences with others. This course is self-paced and 15 weeks in duration.
