Supervisory Certificate Series
This series of course work is designed to enhance your supervisory skills. Careful consideration has been given to the design of this series to ensure participants will be engaged in their learning and fully participate through skills practice, mini-assignments, and interactive group exercises.
Day 1 (Sep 15): Understanding Self & Others (9 am to 4 pm)
This dynamic workshop provides supervisors insight into their individual strengths and talents to assist them in effectively balancing their roles and responsibilities. Through this expanded knowledge, supervisors will be able to build trust while providing the appropriate guidance and support to their team.
Note: Participants are required to take Gallup’s CliftonStrengths 34 assessment prior to this session and bring their report with them to Day 1.
Day 2 (Sep 16): Communicating Successfully (9am to 4 pm)
In today’s fast-paced business environment, successful communication requires more than just speaking your mind loudly enough for others to hear you. This workshop will sharpen verbal communication skills to maximize understanding and improve relationships.
Day 3 (Sep 22): Building Relationships (9 am to 4 pm)
Building on Day’s 1 and 2 information, supervisors will establish the foundation for developing strong, effective relationships in order to minimize conflict and develop employees. This interactive workshop will focus on delivering candid conversations, giving feedback, and establishing an environment of accountability.
Day 4 (Sep 23): Coaching Employees (9 am to 4 pm)
The final day of the series, will be a culmination of skills learned. We will focus on engagement strategies, performance coaching, and ways to enhance the working environment so that employees thrive and achieve results.

Refund policy: Full refund if cancelled within 2 weeks of start date, after that a $75 processing fee will be retained. If cancellation takes place after start date, a $75 processing fee will be retained.
