Evidence-Based Practice on the Frontline: Building a Culture of Quality, Safety, and Nursing Professionalism
Due to the university’s recent travel and meeting restrictions, this event will not take place on April 8-9. The Planning Committee is currently working on the possibility of rescheduling rather than canceling altogether. We will have details soon. Thank you for your support and patience!
April 8 - Preconference (Afternoon- Evening)
EBP from Start to Finish: Real-life Examples
Held at Boone Hospital Center Conference Room
April 9 - Main Conference (All Day) at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center
Explore how front line nurses discover and use the latest evidence to enhance nursing care and improve patient outcomes. The focus is not on high level research but on how front line nurses can practice in an evidentiary world. Nurses will learn basic easy-to-understand information about planning and conducting EBP projects. Novice nurses will build new skills and seasoned nurses will gain new knowledge that enables them to carryout projects to guide everyday practice. Examples of EBP projects conducted by real nurses will be presented.
Who Should Attend
Although this event targets front line nurses who actually provide the care regardless of setting, APRNs, managers and educators also provide positive feedback from participation.
