Description

The purpose of this class is to train beef and dairy producers in all aspects of bovine artificial insemination.

Topics:
• Female anatomy and physiology
• Semen handling procedures
• Facility requirements
• Insemination procedures
• Equipment care and maintenance
• Timed AI protocols

Classroom sessions and on-farm sessions will be all three days. Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty. Equipment and supplies needed for training is provided.

Registration:
Pre-paid registration holds your place in this class, First-come basis and is limited to 12 students. Minimum class enrollment is required.

Lunch is provided all three days. Lodging, transportation, breakfast and dinner are on your own.
