Human Trafficking for the Healthercare Providers:  Indentification and Response

The 5th annual Advanced Practice Assessment and Skills workshop will enhance the knowledge and skills of advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) in all settings regarding how to assess, manage and treat commonly occurring health disorders across the lifespan.  Hands-on workshops will be offered for basic and advanced suturing, as well as using spirometry in asthma and COPD. Topics will focus on the entire lifespan, including human trafficking, telehealth, immunization practice, psychiatric outreach in schools, suicide prevention, post-traumatic stress disorder, orthopedic examination, pediatric transition of care to adulthood, and geriatric psychiatry.

Family NPs, Acute and Primary Care Pediatric NPs, Adult/Gero and Pediatric CNSs,

Psychiatric Mental Health NPs and CNSs

This educational opportunity is designed to assist DNP students and current APRNs to practice to the full extent of their education and training.
