St. Charles County
We bring Mizzou to you.
Through a network of county offices, the University of Missouri solves problems and engages with communities across all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis.
MU faculty, staff and elected council members, who live in your community, work with you to identify local interests and issues and then offer relevant programming and resources to meet the unique needs of you and your community.
Our job is to partner with communities to find solutions with credible, science-based information that will help you:
- Grow safe and healthy food
- Build and grow profitable businesses
- Improve your health and relationships
- Increase agricultural production

Help save the gardens
Thousands of visitors pass through the St. Charles Extension Center on Brown Road each year. However, increased flooding and erosion along Dardenne Creek the past few years now threatens the property.
We have a solution – working with the City of St. Peters, we are embarking on a project that will save our property and stabilize the banks of Dardenne Creek. By partnering with the city, we can cut the cost of this essential project in half. But we have to move now. That’s why we come to you today. We would like to ask you to give in order to Help Save the Gardens for St. Charles Countians.
Your donation is tax deductible.* Please make checks payable to the St. Charles County Extension Council and indicate “Help Save the Gardens” in the notes. If you have questions on ways to Help Save the Gardens, please call Alex at 636-970-3000. Donations may be sent to: MU Extension at 260 Brown Rd, St. Peters, MO 63376.
