4-H fair

90th annual Jackson County 4-H Fair

"2020: Going Back into 4-H History"

The Jackson County 4-H Fair is a collaborative community event, showcasing and promoting the achievements and talents of 4-H youth. The fair gives 4-H members the opportunity to exhibit the projects they have worked on the past year. Projects include but are not limited to hand-made items and food, speeches, live-animals, posters, displays, and more!

During the fair, 4-H'ers meet with expert judges to have their projects evaluated, discuss what they've learned, and identify future learning opportunities. The judges award ribbons to each project based on achievement level. Those who demonstrate the highest achievements are then selected to participate in 4-H at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, MO. The fair encourages 4-H members to have fun while they learn, achieve goals, and spend time with friends. The community is invited to share in the excitement!

Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions and the health of our community in mind, the 2020 Jackson County Fair will be held virtually. Please follow the instructions below for how to enter your project into the virtual fair.
