4-H Camps

Camp Clover Point
JUNE 2020

Registrations for Camp Clover Point at the Lake of the Ozarks will open in Spring 2020! Check back here for registration packet.

4-H Counselor Camp – Ages 14-18
May 29-30

At this special training camp, teen applicants learn the skills to become effective Camp Counselors. Applications Due Feb. 28! Arrive Friday by 5:00 p.m. and depart Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Mandatory training sessions:

  • TBD - March - Cole County Extension Office, Jefferson City
  • TBD - April - Cole County Extension Office, Jefferson City
  • TBD - May - Cole County Extension Office, Jefferson City

Those counselors selected for a position at the Traditional 4-H Camp will need to complete the registration packet and pay fees for Counselor Camp as well.

4-H Shooting Sports Camp – Ages 8-18

Dates TBD. This three-day camp is designed to explore the world of 4-H Shooting Sports including archery, air pistol and air rifle. Whether you are currently enrolled in a shooting sports project or want to learn more, this camp is for you. State certified 4-H Shooting Sports instructors will lead the way! Arrive Thursday by 5:00 p.m. and depart Saturday at 4:45 p.m.

Traditional 4-H Camp – Ages 8-13
June 15-18

Together we’ll explore the exciting opportunities of 4-H! We’ll navigate the Confidence Course, paddle a canoe, shoot a bow and arrow, and make traditional crafts to take home. We’ll also enjoy all our old camp favorites like swimming, evening recreation and of course, campfires! Fee includes transportation from Jefferson City to Camp Clover Point. Meet Bus as follows:

  • Pickup: Monday (8:30 am @ Martellaro Marble & Granite, 10011 Marina Road; 9:00 am @ First Assembly Church, 1900 Route C)
  • Return: Thursday (12:15 pm @ First Assembly Church; 12:30 pm @ Martellaro Marble & Granite)

4-H Canine Camp – Ages 8-18

Dates TBD. This camp is designed for the dog lovers at heart. Bring your dog to camp and be ready to train it to great heights all while enjoying the camp traditions such as swimming, canoeing and campfire. Kids and dogs at all levels of skill are welcome! Registration is through 4HOnline (opens April 1). Arrive Thursday by 3:30 p.m. and depart Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

At Canine Camp you will:

  • Learn new training techniques
  • Meet new people
  • Prepare for the upcoming show season
  • Have fun with your dog

Your dog must be at least 12 weeks old, in good health and free of contagious diseases and fleas.
