Clubs

If you are a first-time attendee for a club meeting, please contact the club leader to confirm the meeting date, time and location. Listed below are regularly scheduled times, but sometimes may vary based on club activities, weather, etc. Club leaders may close membership to new members at their own discretion if enrollment becomes too large.

Lucky H.S. Clovers 4-H Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Birmingham Rd, Liberty. Club leader: Celia Farr, 816-781-5169[email protected].

4-H20 Excelsior Springs 4-H Club meets the second Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm at the Good Samaritan Center, 108 S Thompson Ave, Excelsior Springs. Club Leaders: Nicole Riegel, [email protected], Michelle McDade, [email protected], or find them on Facebook!

Town and Country 4-H Club meets the second Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm at Fairview Christian Church, 1800 NE 65th St KC.. Club Leaders: Amy Sileski or Amy Neal at [email protected] or find them on Facebook!

Smithville 4-H Club meets the second Monday each month at 7 pm. They meet at Grace Community Church, 1520 DD Hwy, Smithville, MO. Club Leaders: Amy Hill, Margaret Chamas and Heather Brassell. Email Amy at [email protected] or find them on Facebook!

Adventure Club

After School Clubs meet weekly at the following schools through Adventure Club: Bell Prairie Elementary, Briarcliff Elementary, Chapel Hill Elementary, Chouteau Elementary, Clardy Elementary, Crestview Elementary, Davidson Elementary, Fox Hill Elementary, Gashland Elementary, Gracemor Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, Linden West Elementary, Maplewood Elementary, Meadowbook Elementary, Nashua Elementary, Northview Elementary, Oakwood Manor Elementary, Ravenwood Elementary, Rising Hill Elementary, West Englewood Elementary, Winnwood Elementary.

  • Independent after school clubs are also meeting weekly at Tiny Hearts and Kearney Firehouse Sparks Studio within their after school programs.
  • We are working on expanding our After School Club program, so if you attend a school not listed and are interested in joining 4-H that way, please email [email protected] and let us know!

4-H County Council

The Clay County 4-H Council meets every other month at the county extension office. Meeting dates are the first Tuesdays in October, December, February, April, June, and August. Each club has the opportunity to have two voting members and two voting adults representing their club at each meeting. It is recommended that each club choose members and adults to represent their club for a full 4-H year for consistency. These club representatives should make a council report at the next club meeting following the council meeting.
