Leadership Online for Today is an innovative program that prepares participants for leadership responsibilities in their communities, organizations and workplaces. This online curriculum was designed to prepare millennial program participants to meet leadership challenges in their communities. This program incorporates innovative delivery methods, a social approach to learning, extensive reflection and leadership coaching to create your unique program experience. Leadership Online for Today is designed with flexibility in mind for both you and your leadership coaches. The course is comprised of 11 week-long sessions. This is an asynchronous class, offering you the ability to work at your convenience within each week’s time-frame. Although this class is offered online, you will build trust and develop a sense of community with other participants as you interact through VoiceThread. Electronic newsletters will complement the curriculum. By the end of the final session, you will develop a collaborative project plan that you can implement in your organization or community.

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

It is required that each participant purchase Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath (2013). It is available here on Amazon or from any other vendor you wish to use. You will need a NEW copy of this book, because one of the activities in the Leadership Online for Today program will be to take the online strengths assessment.  The code for this assessment (which may only be used once) will be found in the back cover of the Strengthsfinder book.
