The 27th Annual Psychiatric-Mental Health Update provides a virtual forum for mental health professionals to increase their evidence-based knowledge and competence in caring for people from across the life span with psychological challenges.  This one-day conference was designed for staff nurses, clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, staff development educators, managers, social workers, psychologists, counselors, nursing home administrators and other interested individuals. Attendees will learn about new psychiatric medications and old medications with new psychiatric uses, care of mental health patients with physical problems, the role and treatment of trauma in mental health problems, and forensics in mental health.
